Garlic Creek Hike and Bike Trail - Buda, TX

On Friday, May 30, 2025, the City of Buda celebrated an exciting milestone with the grand opening of the Onion Creek and Garlic Creek trails. These new trails are significant additions to Buda’s growing network of outdoor spaces, offering residents and visitors more ways to enjoy nature and stay active. One highlight of the project is the Garlic Creek Trail, located just south of RM 967 near Garlic Creek Park—a beautiful community park spanning over 40 acres. The newest segment of this trail features a 10-foot-wide decomposed granite walkway and a striking 160-foot pedestrian bridge. It’s designed not only for recreation but also for connection, linking nearby neighborhoods like Oyster Creek, Clear Springs Hollow, and White Oak Preserve.
